Lots of 500 errors and slowness#73

It’s probably my fault since I just tried uploading my 1000+ feeds (sorry) but now I’m getting lots of loading spinners when I click on anything and then 500 errors.

I was trying to edit/add interests when I saw the 500 errors.

It seems to be fine now. So whatever it was, it was temporary.

Thanks for the awesome app! I have been noodling about building something similar myself so it was very cool to play with this. Sorry if I have abused it too hard. It looks like someone else here has 7k+ feeds so it can’t be that bad I guess.

I’m looking forward to seeing if recommendations get better with more upvoting/downvoting over time.

Right now, Scour doesn’t automatically use the upvoting / downvoting to change the recommendations. Instead, the reactions go into the topics it recommends to you. My current thinking is that it’s kind of nice to be explicit about the topics that you’re interested in, rather than clicking on one article and suddenly getting swamped by things related to that.
