Email Digest#7

It might be nice to send regular digests as emails. I’d be curious to know whether people would want them daily, weekly, or monthly.

The first digest went out this morning (EDT)! Let me know if you have any feedback on it!

I’d love if I could increase the visual density. On my phone I get just under 4 link blocks in the Scour Digest compared to the Hacker Newsletter’s 11.

Good point! I tightened up the spacing on the template for next time and made it so the interests will go on the same line as the title if they fit (like they are on the web version).

It’d be hard to fit many more links without truncating the titles or hiding the tags. I think I want to avoid those options.

For me, personally, the tags aren’t as interesting as another link on my screen. I’d be happy of they went behind a blanket “see categories” (or “context” / “why was this shown” / whatever) button.

Maybe you could generate emojis or something for them and have the top three + an ellipsis shown as the link to see more?
