Werird/offensive stuff being promoted/suggested#58

Amongst other (English language) interests I added “Germany” as interest hoping to get relevant news about, well, Germany, and since then I get completely random crap (presumably solely) because it’s in German language. Most of it is low quality and some of that is pretty offensive, like some write.as blog called “genetic trash” with super weird “poems” about Turkish and Kurdish people.

Oh no! Thanks a lot for reporting this. I’ll work on filtering that kind of content out. Sorry about that!

Scour now uses a model to detect hate speech, encouragement of violence, and other harmful content. Going forward it will filter that content out of the feed.
